ORDER

WHEREAS the Commission has notified a Regulation, namely, the A.P. Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms & Conditions of Open Access) Regulation 2005 (Regulation No.2 of 2005) which come into force on 01-07-2005, for introduction of open access on the Transmission system and the Distribution system of the Licensees

AND WHEREAS clause 8.1 of the said Regulation dealing with the phasing of open access specifies the commencement of first phase as from September 05, but without any specific date of the month being mentioned therein.

AND WHEREAS it is brought to the notice of the Commission that difficulty would arise on the absence of mention of a specific date for commencement of the first phase of open access.

NOW THEREFORE the Commission, having recognized the difficulty in implementing the provisions of the Regulation, hereby specifies that the first phase of open access as referred to in clause 8.1 of the said Regulation will commence from the monthly meter reading date in September 2005, viz., 23^rd September, 2005.
